Sensory Running

Somehow, in the journey out West, meditation and mindfulness lost some of its active, playful nature. The truth is you don’t have to sit still in silence to meditate. And it’s not all about peacefulness; meditation can be exciting and energising too. But don’t take our word for it; let us show you!

Join Sarah Waite, runner and meditation coach, for a magical run around Deptford, using art and simple techniques to reimagine meditation and running. We will cater for every level starting with some warm ups and moving onto a run around the local area.

 2 Minute Interview

How do your workshops with NOW Live Events relate to being in the moment?

Running is an amazing way to calm busy minds and reconnect with our bodies and nature. Checking in with your senses and refocussing your attention on what’s happening while you run is a wonderful, magical way to stay present. And become a better, happier runner.

What are you most looking forward to doing within your NOW Live Events slot?

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise…

I’m looking forward to mixing the tribes and wonders of running, meditation and arts. And running around the beautiful grounds at Wilderness Festival.

Any tips on how the audience can best benefit from your workshop with NOW Live Events?

You don’t have to be pro runner, meditation expert or art connoisseur to enjoy this experience – just bring your curiosity and something comfortable to run in.
