Suzy Greaves, Psychologies editor will be in conversation with Janey Lee Grace in the NOW tent, talking about how to live an imperfect life – and love it. If you’re struggling with the ‘I’ll be happy when…’ mindset, how do you embrace imperfection and love your life as it is right here, right now?

2 Minute Interview
How do your workshops with NOW Live Events relate to being in the moment?
So often we say…I’ll be happy when…I lose weight, find the right partner, change job…but if you embrace the moment – the ‘present’ can be the gift – happiness can be learned, its a mindset.
What are you most looking forward to doing within your NOW Live Events slot?
Sharing some of the nuggets of wisdom I have learned as diverse as the importance of self love (Louise Hay advised carrying a tiny mirror in your bra to whip out and say ‘I love you!’), through to the importance of ditching the synthetic chemicals and choosing organic and natural for your skincare / beauty and even cleaning products.
Any tips on how the audience can best benefit from your workshop with NOW Live Events?
By being inspired that being in the now doesn’t require hours of meditation, it can be as simple as practising mindfulness – being aware of how you eat an apple…

John-Paul Flintoff & Psychologies Magazine: Learning to Improvise
Psychologies magazine is delighted to be hosting one of our favourite experts and authors John-Paul Flintoff. In our June issue, John-Paul wrote us a brilliant piece on why learning to improvise isn’t just for performers, but a useful skill for every day life. Psychologies magazine is a great champion of experimenting, thinking differently and… improvisation.
