At Wilderness (August 2015)
Happiness By Design
Prof. Paul Dolan and his colleague Chloe Foy will be hosting a workshop based on Paul’s bestselling book, ‘Happiness by Design’ which was published last August (Penguin). The book has sold over 25,000 copies and includes the latest, cutting edge research into behavioural science together with the current evidence on happiness to create a new pursuit – turns out it’s not just how you think, it’s how you act. He shows how our happiness is a combination of experiences of pleasure and purpose over time and depends on how we allocate our attention. Through an engaging interactive process of decide, design and do, he reveals the ways in which we can actually become happier without having to think too hard about it.
