Mind, body and soul?
What do we mean when we talk about being ‘spiritual’? Can spirituality lead us to destroy real things in pursuit of imaginary things? How can we appreciate the beauty and wonder of reality? Andy Gibson, founder of Mindapples and author of A Mind for Business, explores how our attitudes to the ‘spiritual’ have changed over the centuries, and explores what spirituality might be – questioning whether it can sometimes take us further away from the here and now, or bring us closer to reality.

Master Your Moods
Our moods and emotions affect our wellbeing, behaviour and even how we see the world. Yet most of the time, we aren’t particularly aware of what we are feeling, or how we can manage our moods to stay healthy and effective in our life and work. Andy Gibson, Head Gardener at Mindapples, will be talking us through the basic psychology of mood and emotion, offering a model for tuning into your moods more effectively, and discussing what we can all do to manage our moods to keep ourselves in good emotional health. Mindapples training sessions are currently only being run inside businesses like JP Morgan and L’Oreal, so this is a great opportunity to hear this content in a different context and learn more about your mind and how to use it.
At Secret Garden Party (July 2013) & Wilderness Festival (August 2013):
Mindapples helps each of us reflect on how our actions affect our minds, so that we can take more conscious action to take care of our wellbeing and mental health. We spend so much of our time not noticing how our lifestyles and context affects how we feel. We aim to help people understand themselves and others better, and make more use of our day-to-day opportunities to look after our minds.
