Andrew Stuck is an enthusiast for getting people out and about on foot to discover their local neighbourhoods. As creator, co-ordinator, and enabler of his unique Walking Creative(TM) participative programmes, his walking experiences and ‘walkshops’ are fun, popular and energising.

First Thursday: Haiku On Foot
Walk, talk, recite and write Haiku through Foot Powered Poems! Haiku on Foot is a free form walk in which you get to write and inspire others to write your own haiku; short structured poems that are just 3 lines long, with 5 syllables in the first and third lines and 7 syllables in the their second line. The haiku you create may be printed and published in a zine – an anthology from each walk.

Mindfulness On The Go
Come and explore your neighbourhood and the impact it has on you with group facilitator and natural health consultant Mel Sutton and her mindful walking partner Andrew Stuck. Walking with purpose and awareness, we will consider how our surroundings affect us, and how these feelings might impact our mental and emotional experience. We will look at this connection allowing our breath and the rhythm of our footsteps to guide our way.
Please wear comfortable footwear and bring some water. Reducing what you carry will also help as we will be doing movement and some nice long stretching!
