Mindfulness and the Art of Urban Living
More than fifty percent of human beings now live in towns and cities; we have become an urban species. By practicing how to stay in touch with our inner worlds within the built up environments around us, we can find both peace and purpose. Adam Ford, writer, philosophy and astronomy expert, invites you to explore mindfulness, a practice that evolved in northern India over two thousand years ago. In his workshop, he will look at the path that The Buddha taught in a secular way and provide a practical approach which anyone can benefit from in their busy urban lives.
